Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ken Taylor joined March Networks in late 2004 in the role of Chief Financial Officer. With more than 18 years of financial, administrative and operational experience with companies in the data networking and information security markets, Mr. Taylor offers March Networks strong financial leadership.
Prior to his position with March Networks, Mr. Taylor served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer with Proshred Security International Inc., an ISO 9001:2000 certified document destruction services company. Mr. Taylor also spent 10 years with international data networking leader Newbridge Networks Corp., holding the positions of Corporate Controller; Assistant Vice President, Finance; and Vice President, Finance. Mr. Taylor was a key member of the team that secured the U.S.$7 billion sale of Newbridge to Alcatel in 2000. With Alcatel, he led the post-merger integration of Newbridge and managed international financing, divestiture and acquisition activities as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Vice President, Finance, Global Switch Data Networking.
Mr. Taylor is a Chartered Accountant and is a business graduate (B.B.A. Information Systems and Marketing) of St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
