The Challenge Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, a financial services co-operative serving more than 350,000 members in Alaska, Washington and California, had its sights set on new video surveillance technology that would allow it to evolve toward a network-based system and integrate video with ATM and teller transaction data. Logging and tracking functionality, reliable system diagnostics, video analytics and integration with its alarm monitoring software were also on the credit union’s wish list.
The Solution A March Networks video surveillance system was selected to provide security for Alaska USA’s 57 branches, as well as its main office and financial centers. The system instantly provides security staff with camera views from the site of an emergency, transmits alerts when the video devices fall short of preset performance thresholds and accommodates people counting and occupancy detection analytics.
