The Challenge
Eglin Air Force Base, one of the largest air force bases in the U.S., went through a paradigm shift in base security, abandoning a compliance-based system that was out of synch with the heightened threat levels of a post 9/11 world. The new threat-based security system adopted by the base required the use of advanced technology as a force multiplier.

The Solution
A networked video surveillance system from March Networks shares a base-wide fiber network and provides security operators at the base defense operations center with an overview of selected sites on wide screen monitors.
