Searchlight Skimming Detection (SD) software analyzes ATM transaction data and video records simultaneously and alerts fraud investigators to potential incidents of ATM skimming and cash harvesting. It leverages our loitering detection video analytic and FTI software, adding a layer of intelligence that video or data alone cannot offer.

Using more than 50 rules that can be configured easily by each bank or credit union, Searchlight SD looks for anomalies or violations and presents that information to investigators daily, in an organized dashboard. Compiling video and data evidence that might otherwise take days to collect, the application enables users to quickly validate whether a fraudulent incident has taken place. Investigators can be alerted via email, further reducing incident response times.

Searchlight SD can be used to detect skimming at the point of device installation or removal. And because it can detect multiple card transactions per customer visit, it is one of the only tools available that can catch cash harvesting.

Image Tracker
The Image Tracker feature in Searchlight SD automatically captures a facial image of every ATM or teller customer. It then marries these images with custom transaction data records – making it easy for investigators to gather the information they need. An option License Plate Tracker feature in Searchlight also lets investigators add vehicle license plate records from all drive-thru ATMs to further strengthen case evidence.

Conventional license plate recognition (LPR) systems require advanced cameras, database infrastructure and operating software, all costly to purchase and maintain. Searchlight License Plate Tracker (LPT) brings the benefits of integrated license plate information and customer transaction records into much easier reach.

LPT is a software module that enhances our Searchlight video/data integration applications. It works with existing drive-thru cameras and our hybrid Network Video Recorders (NVRs) to detect license plate characters from most countries quickly and accurately.
