Edge Encoders and Decoders

Our VideoSphere Edge encoders and decoders integrate analog video into an IP network and manage the decoding and display of all video streams. These units help organizations get the most from their existing analog surveillance camera and cabling investments and transition to IP video networking cost-effectively.

Edge encoders work with VideoSphere Video Management System (VMS) software running on industry-standard servers and support a range of advanced analytics. The Edge Decode Station controls the display of as many as 64 video streams and is ideal for security control centers.

Edge 1 MicroEncoder

• Up to 30 fps NTSC / 25 fps PAL on each camera
• Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Onboard SDHC memory
• Each blade supports the full range of VideoSphere analytics
