March Networks Mobile DVRs (MDVRs) are ruggedized for operation in harsh environments, such as those found in mobile rail and bus applications, or in severe industrial settings.

The units are designed to IEC 60529 IP65 test level for Ingress Protection, SAE J1455/MIL-202F/MIL-STD-810 for shock, and are designed to operate in harsh environments.

The units provide power directly to peripherals (cameras, audio microphones, etc), and contain an integrated battery backup system, for continued operation on temporary loss of vehicle power.
