Superior Detail

The MegaPX 5MP fixed camera combines TDN technology via a removable IR cut filter with progressive scan in high-resolution to ensure excellent image quality — up to 5MP — even in extreme low-light conditions. Use the camera’s digital zoom feature to discern even more information upon review, in crystal-clear, distortion-free detail.

PoE and H.264

Installing the 5MP camera is a snap, thanks to its support for Power over Ethernet (PoE), which eliminates the need for additional power cables and provides substantial installation time and cost savings. This camera also supports H.264, the most efficient video compression technique available - yielding high video quality and frame rates at low bandwidth.

Fail-Safe Recording

The MegaPX 5MP can record to an internal microSDHC or NAS device to ensure uninterrupted recording during a network outage or server failure. When used with March Networks Command or our 7532 Hybrid NVR, the camera’s innovative Shadow Archive feature re-integrates the “missing” video and audio back into the right spot on the recording server, for complete fail-safe management.
