The Key Account Manager’s primary target will be the generation of new business and ensuring growth through the acquisition of new accounts.

As the Key Account Manager is the primary contact for all his accounts in this territory, he will use the resources available to meet corporate sales objectives and maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate is able to:

  • Develop short-term and long-term sales strategies targeting prospects and customers to drive adoption of March Networks solutions;
  • Create account plans and strategies to win new business within assigned territory from new key end-user accounts;
  • Nurse and develop the existing key accounts to ensure their continued adoption of our product and services roadmap;
  • Maintain prospect and customer records to help in preparing sales forecasts, market analysis and assessing competitor activity;
  • Maintain and analyze list of regular prospect and customer calls in CRM;
  • Give constructive and quantitative information to help in maintaining product manuals, sales manuals and pricing schedules;
  • Increase knowledge of industry trends through trade publications and relation information;
  • Participate and assist with trade shows, conventions, customer functions and industry wide affairs as needed;
  • Learn and continuously develop high knowledge of the March Networks product line and competitive product lines to provide information to customers regarding products and applications;
  • Continually assess the ROI of all sales activities in the assigned territory and Submit monthly (or as and when required) reports pertaining to sales activity, potential sale opportunities and market trends;
  • Coordinate with the Sales Engineering Dept, as well as cooperate with all sales, customer service, technical and management personnel.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years of previous technical and consultative sales experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales background or experience in networks, client/server knowledge (CCTV/video surveillance, Point-of-Sales devices or Service based offerings to the retail industry, are work experiences which would be an asset);
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, listening and negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to articulate complex technical information to customers;
  • Experience selling and providing solutions into large enterprise accounts, selling to end users, preferably from the banking and retail sector;
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned territory;
  • Excellent planning and time management skills;
  • Strong autonomy and ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results;
  • Fluent English spoken.

Desirable assets and Soft skills:

  • Experience in Retail, Financial and Commercial/Industrial sales;
  • Experience selling to end customers;
  • Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goal;
  • An inspiring and energetic person with natural business acumen. An attitude of “impossible is nothing”;
  • Openness to new ideas and approaches.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce™, LinkedIn® Sales Navigator and Microsoft® Office 365.
