Reporting to the Global Leader, Product Management, the Product Market Manager for our International business will be based out of Milan, Italy. The Product Market Manager will be the focal point for understanding and communicating customer needs, market trends and competitive intelligence for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia/Pacific Regions. In this role, The Product Market Manager will be responsible to working with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, R&D and Executive Management to help grow our International market share


Help to define Roadmap and Strategy based on Market Analysis and Requirements Prioritization:

  • In house and field visit meetings with end users, integrators, A&Es to document use cases, uncover what problems need solving and present product roadmap/vision for feedback
  • Analyze market research and sales trends in target and potential verticals
  • Work with sales and sales engineers on project requirements vs. business opportunity
  • Investigate and summarize competition pros/cons
  • Communicate with other product management personnel to ensure a cohesive overall solution
  • Help create, update and communicate 3 year Roadmaps
  • Provide price targets to meet market and company GM objectives
  • Document and validate business case forecasts with sales and customers
  • Analyze regional financial data to uncover market trends and present monthly status reports to Product and Senior Management teams

Work with internal teams to develop and deliver on Roadmap:

  • Document detailed requirements though customer needs and use cases for Product Management review
  • Work alongside teams on implementing requirements based on needed functionality, costs and time to market
  • Identify key customers for field trails to solicit feedback on market readiness

Sales Enablement and Regional Analysis:

  • Ongoing product training to help educate and train sales
  • Assist sales and channels in responses to strategic or Tier-1 RFPs
  • Drive strategic and tactical business initiatives to achieve company financial goals
  • Help deliver sales tools including but not limited to data sheets, price lists, A&E specifications, sales training, product presentations, sell against strategies.
  • Work alongside Marketing to create Launch plans that include internal/external announcements, company website presence, trade show displays and demonstrations, newsletters inserts, PR support, and industry trade articles

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years’ as a Product Manager or Business Development Manager in the video, physical or IT security market
  • College or University degree in Finance, Marketing, Engineering, IT or related field
  • Proven record of contributing to the development of a new product including market launch
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment (SCRUM) a plus
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and Italian is required. Additional language skills are a considered an asset.
