March Networks has achieved BIS ER-01 STQC certification for certain EL2 Series camera models, further strengthening its portfolio of secure, compliant video surveillance solutions for the Indian market.
The certification confirms that these dome and bullet security cameras meet India’s Essential Requirements for CCTV under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) framework, including mandatory cybersecurity and product security requirements covering hardware, software and firmware integrity.
The certification comes at an important time for March Networks and VIVOTEK in India. Following the combination of their branded video security businesses in April 2026, the two companies bring together complementary strengths across enterprise video management, advanced IP cameras, AI-powered analytics, business intelligence and cloud video solutions. Together, these capabilities support the organizational vision of Connected Intelligence for Modern Security, connecting video, data and AI to help organizations improve security, operations, and decision-making.
Together, March Networks and VIVOTEK are building on their established presence in India to support customers across key sectors including banking and financial services, retail, transportation, smart cities and building automation.
Recent projects also demonstrate the combined organization’s relevance to India’s evolving infrastructure needs. In July, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co. (FETC) announced VIVOTEK as one of the Taiwanese technology companies involved in the development of India’s first Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) electronic toll collection system -part of India’s modernization of its highway infrastructure.
“India is an important growth market for March Networks, and BIS ER-01 certification is another important step in our commitment to customers and partners across the country,” said Trevor Sinden, Sales Director for the Middle East, Africa & India at March Networks. “Together with VIVOTEK, we bring a broader portfolio, global expertise and strong capabilities across some of India’s most important and rapidly evolving sectors. We are well positioned to help organizations strengthen security, embrace intelligent video and prepare for what comes next.”
