Jim Hamilton named a 2026 SIA 25 on the RISE honoree
Congratulations to Jim Hamilton, Manager of Customer Success, on being named a 2026 Security Industry Association (SIA) 25 on the RISE honoree in the ‘Growth’ category! The award recognizes new and emerging leaders making an impact on their organizations and the security industry.
Jim was recognized for digging into video and transaction data to solve complex fraud challenges, including helping one customer uncover more than $850,000 in diverted product in a single year, and for teaching customer teams to apply the same investigative techniques themselves.

New from VIVOTEK: PPE and fall detection on AI cameras
VIVOTEK AI cameras now support two new SafeGuard features on compatible models: personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall detection. PPE detection checks whether personnel are wearing gear such as helmets or high-visibility vests when entering designated zones, while fall detection sends real-time notifications when someone is lying or sitting on the ground. Both run directly on the camera, can be added to existing compatible cameras with a license, and are monitored centrally in VAST Security Station.
